Battery and inverter compatibility depends on more than nominal power. Voltage window, charge and discharge current, communication and operating mode must all align.
Voltage comes first
Confirm whether the system uses low-voltage or high-voltage batteries, then check the inverter battery-voltage window and maximum current.
Communication matters
CAN or RS485 communication allows the battery management system and inverter to coordinate state of charge, limits and protection behavior.
Validate the application
Backup, off-grid and grid-connected systems use different operating priorities. Matching should be reviewed against the actual application rather than only a component datasheet.
